After a hot summer, we have finally gotten some cooler weather this week in Hattiesburg. We had been hiding out from the zoo because of the miserable heat, but with the cool weather this weekend we had a wonderful trip! The Hattiesburg Zoo is quite small, no elephants, camels or such... but they do have several monkeys, a tiger, a jaguar, zebras and lots of other cool stuff. It's the perfect sized zoo for little ones. Also, you really get super close to the animals... probably 5 feet from the jaguar! Grace loves it!
